ochd/: ‘eight’ in Scottish Gaelic.
The name is a quiet nod to my Scottish roots and to a language that carries a sense of heritage, craft, and place. The number itself has appeared in unexpected ways throughout my journey, becoming a recurring thread that has always felt quietly significant.
The 8 form has become a philosophy for my work. Continuous, connected, and without a defined beginning or end, mirroring the design systems I strive to create: identities that evolve naturally, adapt over time, and bring every touchpoint together into one cohesive whole.
At ochd, I believe the strongest brands aren’t built from individual pieces, but from thoughtful systems that continue to grow, connect, and evolve.
